I found this list online years ago after I finishe I found this list online years ago after I finished binge-watching #gilmoregirls and always meant to work my way through it. For those not in the know, it is all the books that Rory Gilmore is seen or mentions reading in the series Gilmore Girls. (Rory is a HUGE bookworm and ALWAYS reading a book!) I even printed it up and highlighted the children’s and nonfiction, so I could easily find them (there are 339 books here!)...checked off the books I’ve read (not many on THIS list), crossed off the ones I am not at all interested in/know I won’t be reading, and penciled in the topics of many of the nonfiction so I can see at a glance easily when I am looking for something new to read. Then it went in a drawer, #forgotten. Recently I have been very much reliving my lifelong #passionforbooks and dug it back out! I don’t plan to read everything here...I know they won’t all interest me...but I like that there are so very many that I have always wanted to read and many new ones I have never heard of! I just saw a thread on Facebook praising #genzkids I just saw a thread on Facebook praising #genzkids for being an #awesome and #amazinggeneration ! The comments are so heartwarming as every millennial and gen X-r commenting is in agreement...this generation is the most informed, empathetic and kind and we all LOVE THEM and are SO #proud of them and find ourselves SO #hopefulforthefuture because of them!! That’s my kids, y’all!!! #genzrocks !!! One comment really struck me, saying something along the lines of...can we be the first generation to not disparage the next and claim that our generation did x, y, z so much better???
