Just discovered these books last night at work. #booksellerlife They are historical fictions I think? Cute short books on various historical people/incidents. I am now going to have to dive in and see what else I can find in the series. I couldn’t find a series name yet. But the are published by the Smithsonian. If you know more about these, I’d love to know more!! I have dozens more #bookfinds like this that I need to find the time to share here! This beautiful book arrived at our store yesterday. First time I had heard of it. Really beautiful young child version of #malalayousafzai ‘s story. The attack is not detailed, so even a young child could learn from her story without having to be introduced to the horrific details before they are ready. I just discovered this book at work yesterday… #bookscavenger by @jabertie & was immediately intrigued by the game! Sounds a lot like #letterboxing & #geogaching! So I checked out the #audiobook from my #library (LOVE the #libbyapp!) and am really enjoying the story! Which got me wondering if a game like this actually existed IRL. Apparently it does! Though it appears to be on hiatus? Anyone know what’s going on if/when it will return? It does look like there are some books to be found still near my area…but I am still investigating. Panel 1 of my #temperaturebkanket complete FINALLY! The white stripes separate the months...so I am still very behind. This shows the temps through mid-March. Got a lot to catch up on still! I got way behind because I discovered (after I had already done over 2 months of work) I had messed up the edge, doing it wrong, and had to start over or it would have driven me nuts.
